We’re bringing the magic of Great Big Family Play Day to The Autry in Griffith Park, an iconic LA setting surrounded by open space, hillside views, and room to roam for a full day of play, music, and family fun.

Parking

Free parking is available throughout Griffith Park. The closest options are the LA Zoo and Autry Museum lots (plus smaller lots just above and below the Autry), but they fill up quickly—plan extra time. You’re welcome to drop passengers at the Autry’s front turnaround before heading to a satellite lot.

 

Frequently Asked Questions

  • We recommend you purchase in advance for best ticket prices and guaranteed entry. All confirmed ticket holders also receive priority access through our quick check in lines. Tickets will be sold on site unless the event is at capacity.

  • We offer timed entry tickets in order to keep crowds and wait times to a minimum. You may check in 30 minutes before your assigned time

  • All children ages 1 and up require tickets as well as all adults.

  • Yes, tickets are transferrable.

  • We ask that you do bring your printed ticket or have the bar code easily available to scan on your mobile device.

  • Please visit our customer service line at the venue.

  • At this time, there are no refunds less than 30 days before the Event, but tickets are transferrable and typically sell out.

  • This event is rain or shine.

  • Festival tickets includes:

    • In and out access to the Festival Lawn from your timed entry selection until the festival closes each day

    • If you purchase All Weekend access tickets, you can access the Festival Lawn any time all day both days

    • All tickets also include full access to the Autry Museum as well including the Kids playspace there.

    • Access to the full festival lawn with highlights including educational and active booths on the Festival Lawn with activities ranging from arts + crafts to sports & games to music and dance. Live Entertainment / concerts, Full Autry Museum Access including kids play space inside, character meet + greets with a variety of characters through out the weekend, make your own gift box stations, Family Lounge, play spaces organized by age, hands on activities, games and more!

    What is NOT INCLUDED in your festival ticket and requires separate tickets or pay onsite once inside the festival gates:

    • Food Village with food trucks + stands,

    • Carnival Area with inflatables, euro bungee, swings and train.

    • Facepainting, glitter tattoos and similar services.

    • Please refer to the website for schedules and availability of activities each day

  • Yes. Please expect multiple security check points to access the venue and procedures in place including bag checks, metal detectors/wands, wristbands, guards and additional checks once inside the venue.

  • You may bring small personal items like a purse, diaper bag or backpack. You may bring strollers and kids wagons. Please do not bring any large equipment, coolers, chairs, umbrellas, tents or any weapons (fake or real) of any kind.
